The following schools are part of the project:

Borg Jennersdorf

Our school is located in a small town in the very south of Burgenland, which is a province in the east of Austria. The students are between 14 and 18 years old. The total number of teachers is around 40 and we have approximately 300 students. In order to provide for a broad and extended general education, there is a core curriculum which is taught up to the final exams. In addition to these compulsory subjects, the individual school types provide for further specialization in four subject areas depending on their special focus: sports, third foreign language (Spanish), science and information technology.

Lycée Jean Moulin

The high school is located in Saint Amand Montrond, a city of 10,000 inhabitants. Located in the center of France, it is the only “general” high school in the area. The Lycée Jean Moulin (LJM) is made up of two distinct schools (General and Professional) with a total of 830 pupils and 140 personnel, 70 of whom are teachers. The “General” school of the LJM prepares students for university studies by offering courses in science, literature, economics, law and social work. The “Professional” school prepares students for work in the fields of childcare and senior care, as well as community cooking.

IES Lomo de la Herradura

The IES Lomo de la Herradura is a teaching center located on the island of Gran Canaria. The main focus lies on post-compulsory education, basic vocational training of the family of Information Technology and Communications. An “enclave classroom” is dedicated to pupils with severe intellectual disability. The number of students is around 500, the staff comprises around 50 teachers, educational assistants (they help pupils with motor disabilities) and a social worker.

The 1590 Trust

Conyers School is a co-educational secondary academy in the North East of England. They currently have around 1300 pupils between the ages of 11-18 and offer a variety of subjects. There are over 100 teachers, teaching assistants and support staff. The school offers French, German and Spanish as a foreign language.
